Autumn

Summer’s heat is slowly fading;

One can hardly see the sun

That many clouds are darkly shading;
Falling raindrops are no fun.

The leaves of trees begin to change;

So many colours can be seen;

And people do not find it strange

That trees no longer are so green.

The stars are sparkling in the sky

Beside the silver shining moon;

The darkness isn’t really shy

And coming to us rather soon.

Like all four seasons of the year

Cold autumn sometimes isn’t dear.
